Chest distress, cough, asthma, pain in the ribs, mastitis, tuberculous lymphadenitis, swelling and pain in the armpit, etc.

On the chest, at the fourth intercostal space, 1 cun lateral to the nipple, 5 cun lateral to the anterior midline. (This acupoint is bilateral, one on each side.)

Step 1: Lie supine;
Step 2: From the nipple, measure outward along a horizontal line for the width of one horizontal finger (the width of the interphalangeal joint of the thumb is considered 1 cun), and this is the location of this acupoint.
