Acupoint Selection Techniques

Step 1: Extend the arm with the palm facing up and slightly bend the wrist to make a fist;
Step 2: On the inner side of the arm, you can feel two distinct cord-like tendons (the palmaris longus tendon and the flexor carpi radialis tendon);
Step 3: Divide the distance from the wrist crease on the palm side to the elbow crease into two equal parts;
Step 4: Measure 1 horizontal finger width downward from the midpoint of the 1/2 division (the width of the interphalangeal joint of the thumb is considered 1 cun), and the depression between the two tendons is the location of this acupoint.
