Sclera icterus, rib pain, armpit swelling and pain, inability to raise the shoulder and arm, etc.
On the inner side of the arm, along the line connecting Highest Spring (HE-1) and Lesser Sea (HE-3), 3 cun above the elbow transverse crease, in the medial sulcus of the biceps brachii muscle. (This acupoint is bilateral, one on each side.)
Extend the arm. First, locate the positions of Lesser Sea (HE-3) (refer to "Lesser Sea") and Highest Spring (HE-1) (refer to "Highest Spring"). Measure upwards along the line connecting Lesser Sea (HE-3) and Highest Spring (HE-1) from Shao Hai for 4 horizontal fingers, and the spot where there is a sensation of soreness and swelling upon pressing is the location of this acupoint.
