Main Diseases for Treatment

1.Digestive system diseases: Epigastric bloating and pain, chest and rib distension, vomiting and dysphagia, gastric ulcers, gastritis, gastric ptosis, gastric spasm, gastric dilatation, gastric bleeding, neurogenic vomiting, indigestion, enteritis, dysentery, hepatitis;
2.Other conditions: Anemia, progressive muscle dystrophy, hepatosplenomegaly, chronic hemorrhagic diseases, renal ptosis, irregular menstruation, diabetes, nephritis, pediatric night blindness, urticaria, etc.

Acupoint Location

On the back, below the spinous process of the 11th thoracic vertebra, 1.5 cun lateral to the midline. (This acupoint is bilateral, one on each side.)

Acupoint Selection Techniques

Step 1: Sit up straight or lie prone;
Step 2: Take a line through the midpoint of the navel, horizontally around the waist and abdomen for one week;
Step 3: The intersection of this line with the posterior median line is the 2nd lumbar vertebra;
Step 4: Push up vertically from the spinous process of the 2nd lumbar vertebra for three vertebral bodies to reach the spinous process of the 11th thoracic vertebra;
Step 5: There is a depression below the spinous process of the 11th thoracic vertebra, and 2 horizontal fingers lateral to this depression (place the index and middle fingers side by side, using the width of the middle finger's proximal interphalangeal joint as the standard for 1.5 cun) is the location of this acupoint.
