Lumbosacral pain, irregular menstruation, leukorrhea, vulvar protrusion, dysmenorrhea, hernia, lower limb atrophy and numbness, as well as sciatica, and pelvic inflammatory disease, etc.

On the sacral region, just medial and inferior to the posterior superior iliac spine, directly opposite the second posterior sacral foramen. (This acupoint is bilateral, one on each side.)

Step 1: Lie prone;
Step 2: Starting from the highest point of the iliac crest at the back of the pelvis, feel inward and downward along the sacral horns on both sides to identify a prominent bony protrusion (the posterior superior iliac spine), and the central prominence of the iliac bone at the same level is the first sacral vertebra;
Step 3: The vertebra immediately below the first sacral vertebra is the second sacral vertebra;
Step 4: The depression between the posterior superior iliac spine and the second sacral vertebra is the location of this acupoint.
