Constipation, diarrhea, dysuria, irregular menstruation, leukorrhea, and lower back pain.
On the sacral region, just medial and inferior to the Second Bone Hole (BL-32) acupoint, directly opposite the third posterior sacral foramen. (This acupoint is bilateral, one on each side.)
Step 1: Lie prone; Step 2: Determine the posterior superior iliac spine: At the back of the pelvis, from the highest point of the iliac crest, palpate inward and downward along the sacral horns on both sides to find a prominent bony protrusion, which is the posterior superior iliac spine; Step 3: At the same level as the posterior superior iliac spine, the central prominence of the iliac bone is the spinous process of the first sacral vertebra; Step 4: Determine the Second Bone Hole (BL-32) acupoint: Push vertically down from the spinous process of the first sacral vertebra for one vertebra to reach the spinous process of the second sacral vertebra, the space between this spinous process and the posterior superior iliac spine is the second posterior sacral foramen, which is the Second Bone Hole (BL-32) acupoint; Step 5: Determine the sacral hiatus: Above the coccyx, between the two sacral horns, is the sacral hiatus; Step 6: Place the middle finger on the second posterior sacral foramen, and the little finger in the depression beside the sacral hiatus, spread the index, middle, ring, and little fingers evenly apart, the tip of the ring finger will be at the location of this acupoint.
