Stomach pain, abdominal distension, inability to swallow food, and back pain, etc.
On the back, below the spinous process of the 12th thoracic vertebra, 3 cun lateral to the midline. (This acupoint is bilateral, one on each side.)
Sit up straight or lie prone. Take a line across the navel around the abdomen and waist for one week, and the point corresponding to the center of the navel is the 2nd lumbar vertebra. From here, push up for 2 vertebral bodies (i.e., the 12th thoracic vertebra), then measure 4 horizontal fingers laterally from the lower edge of its spinous process, and press where there is a sensation of soreness and swelling, which is the location of this acupoint.
