On the waist, below the spinous process of the 2nd lumbar vertebra, 3 cun lateral to the midline. (This acupoint is bilateral, one on each side.)

Step 1: Sit down;
Step 2: Draw a line around the waist and abdomen at the midpoint of the navel;
Step 3: The intersection of this line with the posterior median line is the spinous process of the 2nd lumbar vertebra;
Step 4: There is a depression below the spinous process of the 2nd lumbar vertebra, and 4 horizontal fingers lateral to this depression (place the index, middle, ring, and little fingers side by side, using the width of the middle finger's proximal interphalangeal joint as the standard for 3 cun, also known as the "one-span method") is the location of this acupoint.
