Lower limb atrophy and numbness, heel pain, beriberi, back pain, epilepsy, ankle arthritis, etc.
On the lateral side of the foot, behind and below the external malleolus, directly below Kunlun Mountains (BL-60), on the lateral side of the calcaneus, at the junction of the red and white skin. (This acupoint is bilateral, one on each side.)
Sit up straight with feet touching the ground, or lie prone. First, locate Kunlun Mountains (BL-60) (refer to "Kunlun Mountains"), then measure vertically downward from Kunlun Mountains (BL-60) for 1 horizontal finger width, and press where there is a sensation of soreness and swelling; this is the location of this acupoint.
