On the face, at the anterior edge of the attachment of the masseter muscle in front of the angle of the jaw, where the facial artery pulsates. (This acupoint is bilateral, one on each side.)
Step 1: Sit upright or lie on your back. Step 2: Close your mouth and puff out your cheeks, a groove-shaped depression will appear just in front of and below the angle of the jaw. Step 3: At the lower end of this depression, press where you feel a pulsation, which is the location of the acupoint.
