Eye pain with excessive tearing, eyelid twitching, tearing in the wind, blurred vision, conjunctivitis, decreased visual acuity, migraine, frontal neuralgia, vascular headache, schizophrenia, facial nerve paralysis, sequelae of stroke, hypertension, etc.
On the side of the head, 0.5 cun above the hairline at the temple, 4.5 cun lateral to the midline of the head. (This acupoint is bilateral, one on each side.)
Step 1: Sit upright or lie on your back. Step 2: Measure 0.5 horizontal fingers above the hairline at the temple (the transverse diameter of the interphalangeal joint of the thumb is 1 cun), which is the location of the acupoint.
