Stomach pain, abdominal bloating, vomiting, poor appetite, acid reflux, as well as acute and chronic gastritis, gastric ptosis, peptic ulcers, and biliary colic, etc.
On the upper abdomen, 6 cun above the center of the navel, 2 cun from the anterior midline. (This acupoint is bilateral, one on each side.)
Step 1: Lie supine. Step 2: Feel along the anterior median line downward to locate the depression formed between the sternum body and the xiphoid process, which is the sternal-xiphoid junction. Step 3: Divide the line from the sternal-xiphoid junction to the navel into four equal parts, and draw a horizontal line from the intersection of the upper 1/4 and lower 3/4. Step 4: This horizontal line will intersect with the midline of the breast (the vertical line through the nipple). Step 5: The midpoint between these two intersections is where the acupoint is located.
