Knee, hip, and thigh pain, difficulty in flexing and extending the lower limbs, paralysis, leg and knee swelling and pain, meralgia paresthetica, inguinal lymphadenitis, etc.
On the front of the thigh, along the line connecting the anterior superior iliac spine and the lateral side of the patellar base, when the thigh is flexed, it is level with the perineum, located in the depression on the lateral side of the sartorius muscle. (This acupoint is bilateral, one on each side.)
Lie supine. On the front of the thigh, along the line connecting the anterior superior iliac spine and the outer edge of the base of the patella, when the thigh is flexed to the level of the perineum, a depression can be felt along this line, which is the location of the acupoint.
