On the front of the thigh, along the line connecting the anterior superior iliac spine and the outer edge of the patella, 3 cun above the base of the patella. (This acupoint is bilateral, one on each side.)
Sit upright with knees bent. First, draw a line connecting the anterior superior iliac spine and the lateral lower end of the patella. Then, starting from the outer upper edge of the knee, measure straight up along this line by four horizontal fingers, and the spot where pressing induces a painful sensation is the acupoint.
