On the frontolateral side of the lower leg, 6 cun below the Calf's Nose (ST-35), one horizontal finger from the anterior edge of the tibia; or at the midpoint of the line connecting Leg Three Miles (ST-36) and Lower Large Hollow (ST-39). (This acupoint is bilateral, one on each side.)
Step 1: Sit with your knees bent. Step 2: On the outer side of the knee, you can feel a depression, which is the Calf's Nose (ST-35) acupoint. Step 3: Measure two sets of four horizontal fingers (with the index, middle, ring, and little fingers together, the width of the four fingers at the level of the proximal interphalangeal joint of the middle finger is 3 cun, also known as the "one-fu" method) downward from the Calf's Nose (ST-35) acupoint, and the spot one horizontal finger (the width of the middle finger) away from the anterior edge of the fibula is the location of this acupoint.
