Step 1: Sit with your knees bent. Step 2: First, identify the midpoint of the line connecting the end of the popliteal crease and the tip of the external malleolus (the distance between the popliteal crease and the tip of the external malleolus is 16 cun). Step 3: Then, starting from the anterior edge of the tibia, measure outward along the horizontal line at the midpoint to one horizontal finger width (the width of the middle finger), which is the location of the acupoint.
