Headaches, tinnitus, deafness, otitis media, facial paralysis with mouth and eye slanting, facial pain, toothache, epilepsy, and convulsions.
Located in front of the ear, directly below Below the Arch (ST-7), at the depression on the upper edge of the zygomatic arch. (This acupoint is bilateral, one on each side.)
Step 1: Sit up straight or lie on your side; Step 2: Measure 2 horizontal fingers (index and middle fingers) forward from the tragus, and you can feel a depression on the upper side of the zygomatic arch in front of the ear, which has a sore and aching sensation when pressed; this is the location of this acupoint.
