Migraine, dizziness, tinnitus, toothache, facial paralysis with mouth and eye slanting, pain at the outer canthus, epilepsy, etc.
On the temple, above the hairline, at the intersection point of the upper and lower quarters of the arc connecting Head's Corner (ST-8) and Crook of the Temple (GB-7). (This acupoint is bilateral, one on each side.)
Step 1: Sit up straight or lie on your side; Step 2: First, locate Head's Corner (ST-8) (refer to "Head's Corner") and Crook of the Temple (GB-7) (refer to "Crook of the Temple"); Step 3: Take an elastic band marked with four equal parts, stretch the band so that its ends correspond to Head's Corner (ST-8) and Crook of the Temple (GB-7); Step 4: On this band, the point at the intersection of the upper 1/4 and the lower 3/4 is the location of this acupoint.
