Main Diseases for Treatment

Migraine, swelling of the jaw and cheek, clenched jaw, vomiting, toothache, red and swollen eyes, and stiff neck unable to turn.

Acupoint Location

On the head, at the intersection of the vertical line from the posterior edge of the hairline at the temple and the horizontal line at the tip of the ear. (This acupoint is bilateral, one on each side.)

Acupoint Selection Techniques

Step 1: Sit up straight or lie on your side.
Step 2: Fold the auricle forward, and the point where the tip of the auricle points to the hairline is the Angle Vertex (TE-20) acupoint.
Step 3: Measure 1 horizontal finger width forward from the Angle Vertex (TE-20) acupoint, on the edge of the temple hair, and press where there is a depression; this is the location of this acupoint.
