Main Diseases for Treatment

Headaches, dizziness, stiff neck, chest and rib pain, bitter taste in the mouth, tinnitus, deafness, ear pain, and throat blockage, etc.

Acupoint Location

On the head, above and behind the mastoid process of the ear, at the intersection of the middle third and lower third of the line connecting Heavenly Rushing (GB-9) and Mastoid Process (GB-12). (This acupoint is bilateral, one on each side.)

Acupoint Selection Techniques

Step 1: Sit up straight or lie on your side.
Step 2: Above and behind the mastoid process of the ear, first locate the acupoint Floating White (GB-10) (refer to "Floating White").
Step 3: Measure 1 horizontal finger width backward and downward from the Floating White (GB-10) acupoint, and press where there is a depression; this is the location of this acupoint.
