On the hip, at the midpoint of the line connecting the anterior superior iliac spine and the most prominent point of the femoral greater trochanter. (This acupoint is bilateral, one on each side.)
Step 1: Lie on your side. Step 2: Place the thumb on the posterior superior iliac spine. Step 3: Place the middle finger on the greater trochanter of the femur (in the middle and lower part of the hip bone, you can feel a round and large bony protrusion; place your hand on it, and it is clearly felt moving when the lower limb is flexed and extended). Step 4: Naturally spread the index finger between the thumb and middle finger. Step 5: The depression caused by the index finger is the location of this acupoint.
