Migraine, pain at the outer canthus of the eye, chest and rib pain, swelling and pain in the armpit, scrofula, beriberi, waist and leg pain, lower limb paralysis, as well as sciatica, etc.
On the lateral side of the lower leg, 4 cun above the tip of the external malleolus, slightly anterior to the anterior edge of the fibula. (This acupoint is bilateral, one on each side.)
Sit or lie supine. Divide the line connecting the tip of the external malleolus and the head of the popliteal crease into four equal parts. The acupoint is located at the point slightly anterior to the anterior edge of the fibula, where the lower 1/4 and upper 3/4 of the line intersect.
