On the medial edge of the foot, at the depression where the red and white skin meet, posterior and inferior to the first metatarsophalangeal joint of the big toe. (This acupoint is bilateral, one on each side.)
Sit upright with feet dangling or lie supine. At the joint formed by the big toe and the sole of the foot (the first metatarsophalangeal joint), you can feel a depression at the junction of the palmar and dorsal sides, posterior and inferior to the joint. Pressing this area, if there is a sensation of soreness and swelling, indicates the location of the acupoint.
