Stomach pain, abdominal distension, bowel sounds, diarrhea, jaundice, constipation, neurogenic vomiting, indigestion, acute and chronic gastritis, acute and chronic enteritis, calf muscle spasm, breast diseases, nausea and vomiting after colds, and ankle joint and surrounding soft tissue diseases, etc.
On the medial side of the ankle, in the depression at the anterior-inferior aspect, at the midpoint of the line connecting the navicular tuberosity and the tip of the medial malleolus. (This acupoint is bilateral, one on each side.)
Sit upright with feet dangling or lie supine. You can feel a depression at the front and lower part of the medial malleolus. Pressing this area, if there is a sensation of soreness and swelling, indicates the location of the acupoint.
