On the inner side of the thigh, 2 cun above the medial end of the patellar base, where the medial head of the quadriceps muscle is prominent; the acupoint is located with the knee bent. (This acupoint is bilateral, one on each side.)
Step 1: Sit down with your knees bent at a 90-degree angle. Step 2: Position the palm of your left hand against the upper edge of the right kneecap (patella). Step 3: Extend the second to fifth fingers upwards, place the thumb at approximately a 45-degree angle to the other four fingers, the location under the thumb tip is the acupoint.
