Main Diseases for Treatment

1.Urological and reproductive system diseases: urinary retention, orchitis, spermatic cord neuralgia, dysuria, urinary obstruction;
2.Gynecological and obstetrical system diseases: eclampsia, endometritis, mastitis, leukorrhea, insufficient lactation;
3.Others: abdominal pain, gastrointestinal colic, hernia.

Acupoint Location

On the lateral side of the inguinal groove, 3.5 cun from the midpoint of the upper edge of the pubic symphysis, and on the lateral side of the pulsation of the external iliac artery. (This acupoint is bilateral, one on each side.)

Acupoint Selection Techniques

Step 1: Lie on your back.
Step 2: First, palpate the pulsating artery on the lateral side of the inguinal groove (the external iliac artery).
Step 3: Press on the lateral side of the pulsation where there is a sensation of soreness and swelling; this is the location of the acupoint.
