Shin soreness and pain, menstrual irregularities, vaginal itching, metrorrhagia, leukorrhea, vaginal protrusion, hernia, testicular swelling and pain, endometritis, uterine prolapse, difficult urination, nocturnal emission, and soreness and pain in the feet and shins, etc.
On the medial side of the lower leg, 5 cun above the tip of the medial malleolus, at the center of the medial surface of the tibia. (This acupoint is bilateral, one on each side.)
Sit or lie supine. Measure vertically upward from the tip of the medial malleolus by four horizontal fingers, then measure up another two horizontal fingers (the width of the thumb), and the acupoint is located in the depression on the medial edge of the tibia, where pressing elicits a sensation of soreness and swelling.
