On the medial side of the lower leg, 7 cun above the tip of the medial malleolus, at the center of the medial surface of the tibia. (This acupoint is bilateral, one on each side.)
Sit or lie supine. Take an elastic band marked with two equal division lines, align both ends of the band with the tip of the medial malleolus and the medial condyle of the tibia (the bony prominence on the inner side at the upper end of the lower leg, near the knee joint), and stretch the band taut. The location of the acupoint is slightly below the midpoint of the band (approximately 0.5 cun).
