1.Nervous and mental system diseases: neurasthenia, mental illness, dementia, hysteria; 2.Urogenital system diseases: urinary retention, gonorrhea; 3.Others: asthma, sore throat, oral inflammation, hemoptysis, esophageal stenosis, constipation, malaria, somnolence, heel pain, etc.
On the medial side of the foot, behind and below the medial malleolus, at the depression on the anterior medial side of the attachment of the Achilles tendon. (This acupoint is bilateral, one on each side.)
Sit upright with feet dangling or lie on your back. First, locate Great Stream (KI-3) (refer to "Great Stream"), then measure half a horizontal finger width downward from Great Stream, and push horizontally backward. At the anterior edge of the Achilles tendon, you can feel a depression, which is the location of this acupoint.
