On the medial side of the lower leg, 2 cun directly above Great Stream (KI-3), in front of the Achilles tendon. (This acupoint is bilateral, one on each side.)
Step 1: Sit upright with feet dangling or lie on your back. Step 2: Locate the Great Stream (KI-3) acupoint: Push backward from the tip of the medial malleolus to the depression between it and the Achilles tendon (approximately at the midpoint between the medial malleolus and the Achilles tendon), which is the Great Stream (KI-3) acupoint. Step 3: Measure 2 horizontal fingers (the transverse diameter of the interphalangeal joint of the thumb is 1 cun) directly upward from the Great Stream (KI-3) acupoint, in front of the Achilles tendon, which is the location of this acupoint.
