Main Diseases for Treatment

Irregular menstruation, metrorrhagia, leukorrhea, vaginal protrusion, vaginal itching, amenorrhea, diarrhea, five types of urinary disorders, dysentery with red and white discharge, constipation, dysentery, hernia, and testicular swelling and pain, etc.

Acupoint Location

On the medial side of the lower leg, 2 cun directly above Great Stream (KI-3), 0.5 cun in front of Continuing Flow (KI-7), and behind the medial edge of the tibia. (This acupoint is bilateral, one on each side.)

Acupoint Selection Techniques

Step 1: Sit upright with feet dangling or lie on your back.
Step 2: Locate the Great Stream (KI-3) acupoint: Push backward from the tip of the medial malleolus to the depression between it and the Achilles tendon (approximately at the midpoint between the medial malleolus and the Achilles tendon), which is the Great Stream (KI-3) acupoint.
Step 3: Locate the Continuing Flow (KI-7) acupoint: Measure 2 horizontal fingers (the transverse diameter of the interphalangeal joint of the thumb is 1 cun) directly upward from the Great Stream (KI-3), acupoint, in front of the Achilles tendon, which is the Continuing Flow (KI-7) acupoint.
Step 4: The location of this acupoint is half a horizontal finger width in front of the Continuing Flow (KI-7) acupoint.
