Main Diseases for Treatment

Irregular menstruation, metrorrhagia, leukorrhea, hernia, scrotal dampness and itching, pain in the genital area, mania, pain in the inner side of the knee and thigh, difficult urination, nocturnal emission, impotence, as well as urinary tract infections, and urinary retention, etc.

Acupoint Location

On the inner side of the popliteal fossa, when the knee is bent, between the tendons of the semitendinosus and semimembranosus muscles. (This acupoint is bilateral, one on each side.)

Acupoint Selection Techniques

Step 1: Stand or lie prone.
Step 2: Push from the high bone on the inner side of the knee outward, and you can touch two tendons on the inner side of the popliteal crease (the palpable tendons are distinct and have a sliding sensation when flicked firmly).
Step 3: The depression between the two tendons is the location of the acupoint.
