In the upper abdomen, 5 cun above the navel center, 0.5 cun lateral to the anterior midline. (This acupoint is a pair, one on each side)

Supine position. First, measure 4 transverse fingers straight down from the midpoint of the xiphoid process, then measure half a transverse finger laterally from the anterior midline, and the spot where there is a sour and swollen sensation upon pressure is the acupoint.
