Two cun directly below the Leg Three Miles (ST-36) acupoint. Approximately five cun below the patella, one transverse finger lateral to the anterior crest of the tibia. (This acupoint is a pair, one on each side)
Lie on your back or sit upright with your feet dangling. Feel downwards from the center of the knee and you will encounter a bony prominence (the tibial tuberosity). Measure four transverse fingers directly downwards from the outer lower edge of this prominence, one transverse finger away from the front edge of the tibia, and this is where the acupoint is located.
