On both sides of the patellar ligament at the depressions; the medial one is called the medial knee eye, and the lateral one is called the lateral knee eye. There are 2 acupoints on each side, totaling 4 acupoints.

Step 1: Sit upright with knees bent.
Step 2: On the medial and lateral sides of the knee, you can feel a depression, which is the acupoint in question. The one on the medial side is referred to as the medial knee eye, and the one on the lateral side is referred to as the lateral knee eye.
