Shoulder blade soreness, periarthritis of the shoulder, soft tissue injury of the shoulder and back, pain on the outer and posterior side of the elbow and arm, inability to raise the upper limb, swelling and pain in the neck, cheek, and jaw, mastitis, breast inflammation, fullness in the chest and hypochondrium, cough and asthma, and coughing with heart palpitations.

In the scapular region, at the central depression of the infragluteal fossa, level with the fourth thoracic vertebra. (This acupoint is paired, one on each side)

Step 1: Sit upright with shoulders relaxed.
Step 2: Identify the scapular spine: The scapular spine is a transverse protrusion at the back of the shoulder, which can be felt as the bone under your right hand when you place it on your left shoulder.
Step 3: Divide the line connecting the midpoint of the lower edge of the scapular spine and the inferior angle of the scapula into three equal parts. The point where the upper 1/3 and the lower 2/3 of this line intersect is the location of this acupoint.
