1.Otorhinolaryngology system diseases: Stomatitis, glossitis, parotitis, pain and swelling of the mouth, tongue, and throat, facial palsy, tonsillitis; 2.Others: Facial nerve paralysis, spasm of the abdominal wall muscles, forearm pain, headache, facial swelling, stiff neck, abdominal pain with bowel sounds, boils, etc.
When the elbow is bent, on the radial side of the dorsal aspect of the forearm, along the line connecting Yang Stream (LI-5) and Pool at the Bend (LI-11), 5 cun above the wrist crease. (This acupoint is paired, one on each side)
Extend the arm with the palm facing down. First, identify the locations of Yang Stream (LI-5) acupoint(refer to "Yang Stream") and Pool at the Bend (LI-11) acupoint(refer to "Pool at the Bend"). Measure one transverse finger width downward from the midpoint of the line connecting Yang Stream (LI-5) and Pool at the Bend (LI-11), which is the location of this acupoint.
