Main Diseases for Treatment

Headache, dizziness, abdominal pain with bowel sounds, soreness in the shoulders and arms, numbness in the arm, and upper limb paralysis, etc.

Acupoint Location

On the radial side of the dorsal aspect of the forearm, along the line connecting Yang Stream (LI-5) and Pool at the Bend (LI-11), 3 cun below the elbow crease. (This acupoint is paired, one on each side)

Acupoint Selection Techniques

Extend the arm with the palm facing down. First, identify the locations of Yang Stream (LI-5) acupoint (refer to "Yang Stream") and Pool at the Bend (LI-11) acupoint (refer to "Pool at the Bend"). Measure four transverse finger widths downward along the line connecting Yang Stream (LI-5) and Pool at the Bend (LI-11) from the elbow crease, which is the location of this acupoint.
