Shoulder and arm pain, upper limb paralysis, stiff neck, toothache, tuberculous lymphadenitis, urticaria, and periarthritis of the shoulder, etc.
On the shoulder, above the deltoid muscle, when the arm is abducted or extended forward, it is located in the depression at the front and lower part of the acromion. (This acupoint is paired, one on each side)
Step 1: Sit with the upper arm abducted to a horizontal position. Step 2: At the high bony part of the shoulder (the outer end of the clavicle), two depressions can be seen above the shoulder joint. Step 3: The depression at the front is the location of this acupoint.
