Cough, asthma, sore throat and swelling, sudden muteness, tuberculous lymphadenitis, goiter.

Located on the lateral side of the neck, next to the Adam's apple, between the anterior and posterior edges of the sternocleidomastoid muscle. (This acupoint is paired, one on each side)

Step 1: Sit upright with the head slightly tilted.
Step 2: On the side of the neck, a prominent muscle can be seen and felt, which is the sternocleidomastoid muscle.
Step 3: At the midpoint of the belly of the sternocleidomastoid muscle, level with the Adam's apple, is the location of this acupoint.
