Headache, tinnitus, deafness, otitis media, red eyes, eye pain, sudden muteness, swollen throat, febrile diseases, tuberculous lymphadenitis, cough with rib pain, fullness and oppression in the chest and diaphragm, sudden heart pain, rebellious qi, constipation, vomiting, diarrhea, amenorrhea, postpartum blood syncope, insufficient milk secretion, rib-side pain, shoulder, arm, waist, and back soreness, stiff neck, finger tremor, wrist and arm weakness, erysipelas.
On the dorsal side of the forearm, along the line connecting Yang Pool (TE-4) acupoint and the Elbow Tip(EX-UE1), 3 cun above the wrist crease, between the ulna and the radius. (This acupoint is paired, one on each side)
Step 1: Raise the arm with the palm facing down. Step 2: Measure straight up from the midpoint of the wrist crease for four transverse finger widths (index, middle, ring, and little fingers together, using the width of the four fingers at the level of the proximal interphalangeal joint of the middle finger as 3 cun, also known as the "one-fu" method). Step 3: In the depression between the two bones of the forearm, where there is a sensation of soreness and swelling upon pressure, is the location of this acupoint.
