Moxibustion Treatment

Hair loss (hair growth promotion).

Symptom Analysis

Hair loss refers to the phenomenon of hair falling out. Normally, the hair that falls out is in the telogen and resting phase. Pathological hair loss refers to abnormal or excessive hair shedding. The most common type is seborrheic alopecia, whose main symptoms include greasy hair, sometimes with dry and frizzy hair, yellowish dandruff that is difficult to remove, or grayish-white dandruff that flies around, and a sensation of itching.

Moxibustion Acupoint Selection

Treatment Course

It is recommended to perform moxibustion once a day, targeting 2 to 3 acupoints each time, with each acupoint being treated for 30 to 40 minutes. Rotate the points treated, with a 10-day period constituting one course of treatment, and then rest for 2 to 3 days before continuing with the next course.

(If time permits and there is a need, more acupoints can be treated with moxibustion. The specific duration should be adjusted according to one's own physical needs.)

Life Tips

1. Wash hair frequently. The interval between washes should be 2 to 5 days.

2. Quit smoking. Smoking can cause the capillaries in the scalp to constrict, affecting the growth of hair.

3. Moderate alcohol consumption. Baijiu, especially when warmed, can generate heat and dampness in the scalp, leading to hair loss. Even beer and wine should be consumed in moderation.

4. Pay attention to your diet. Avoid spicy and greasy foods.
