Minor Cold coincides with the "coldest days of winter," characterized by cold weather, making it the solar term with the most intense cold energy. Traditional Chinese Medicine believes that cold energy can injure the kidneys, leading not only to symptoms such as soreness and pain in the waist and knees, frequent nocturnal urination, impotence, and premature ejaculation, but also to external contraction of wind and cold. Additionally, one may experience dry throat and mouth, dizziness, and tinnitus. Therefore, during Minor Cold, the focus should first be on nourishing the kidneys.
Apply moxibustion 4 to 5 days before and after the solar term (a total of 8 to 10 days), it is recommended to do it once a day, for 30 to 40 minutes per acupoint.
