Moxibustion Treatment

Angina Recovery and Conditioning

Symptom Analysis

Angina is caused by insufficient blood supply from the coronary arteries, leading to acute and temporary ischemia and hypoxia of the heart muscle, with paroxysmal chest pain or discomfort as the main clinical manifestation. During an attack, there is a feeling of oppressive pain in the chest. Traditional Chinese Medicine believes that angina is caused by various reasons that lead to the obstruction of the flow of qi and blood in the heart meridian, causing pain. Moxibustion can help activate blood circulation, unblock the meridians, regulate qi, and relieve pain, thereby alleviating and reducing the occurrence of this condition.

Moxibustion Acupoint Selection

Treatment Course

It is recommended to perform moxibustion once a day, targeting 2 to 3 acupoints each time, with each acupoint being treated for 30 to 40 minutes. Rotate the points treated, with a 10-day period constituting one course of treatment, and then rest for 2 to 3 days before continuing with the next course.

(If time permits and there is a need, more acupoints can be treated with moxibustion. The specific duration should be adjusted according to one's own physical needs.)

Life Tips

The inducing factors of this condition are: fatigue, emotional excitement, overeating, cold exposure, rainy weather, and acute circulatory failure, so daily life should pay attention to the following points:

1. Maintain an optimistic mood.
2. Avoid overly tense mental labor and heavy physical labor.
3. Ensure adequate sleep.
4. Refrain from smoking and excessive drinking.
5. Do not strain during bowel movements.
