Moxibustion Treatment

Rosacea

Symptom Analysis

Rosacea, commonly known as red nose or red tip of the nose, is a chronic skin inflammation that occurs on the central part of the face. Factors such as Demodex folliculorum infection, alcohol consumption, spicy food, high temperature and cold stimulation, indigestion, and endocrine disorders can all trigger this condition.

Moxibustion Acupoint Selection

Treatment Course

It is recommended to perform moxibustion once a day, targeting 2 to 3 acupoints each time, with each acupoint being treated for 30 to 40 minutes. Rotate the points treated, with a 10-day period constituting one course of treatment, and then rest for 2 to 3 days before continuing with the next course.

(If time permits and there is a need, more acupoints can be treated with moxibustion. The specific duration should be adjusted according to one's own physical needs.)

Life Tips

1. Refrain from squeezing or scratching the affected area of the nose to prevent infection. Carefully protect infected areas, and pay attention to cleanliness.

2. Avoid using cosmetics that can irritate the skin.

3. Refrain from consuming spicy and irritating foods, maintain regular bowel movements, and prevent the accumulation of toxins in the body.

4. Reduce sun exposure and avoid working in high-temperature, humid environments.

5. Tip: Tangerine seeds + Walnuts.
Fry 3 grams of tangerine seeds slightly until they turn yellow, dry them, and grind them into powder; grind one walnut into powder, mix both powders with warm wine, and apply the mixture to the nose.
