Vaginitis is an inflammation of the vaginal mucosa and the submucosal connective tissue, which is a common gynecological condition. Due to anatomical and physiological characteristics, a healthy woman's vagina has natural defense mechanisms against the invasion of pathogens. When these defenses are compromised, pathogens can easily invade, leading to vaginal inflammation. Clinically, vaginitis is mainly characterized by changes in the nature of vaginal discharge, as well as external genital itching and burning pain; dyspareunia is also quite common. When the infection involves the urethra, symptoms such as painful urination and urinary urgency may occur. Moxibustion is very effective in regulating vaginitis.
It is recommended to perform moxibustion once a day, targeting 2 to 3 acupoints each time, with each acupoint being treated for 30 to 40 minutes. Rotate the points treated, with a 10-day period constituting one course of treatment, and then rest for 2 to 3 days before continuing with the next course. (If time permits and there is a need, more acupoints can be treated with moxibustion. The specific duration should be adjusted according to one's own physical needs.)
1. Press the spleen reflex zone between the 4th and 5th metacarpals of the left hand, and rub with the pad of the thumb 10 to 20 times. The pressure should be just right to cause a sour and swelling sensation. The rhythm of the pressure should be slightly slow to enhance the penetrating power. 2. External regulation method: Use a personal hygiene spray, spray an appropriate amount every day, which can have a very good effect.
