Pale complexion refers to a facial appearance that lacks luster, is pale or dull, and has rough skin with many spots. The face is the part with the richest blood vessels, and the strength or weakness of heart function can be reflected in the facial color. When the heart qi is vigorous and the blood is abundant, the face appears rosy and radiant. If there is a deficiency of heart qi and blood, insufficient blood supply to the face, and the skin does not receive proper nourishment, the complexion will appear pale, dull, or sallow and lifeless.
It is recommended to perform moxibustion once a day, targeting 2 to 3 acupoints each time, with each acupoint being treated for 30 to 40 minutes. Rotate the points treated, with a 10-day period constituting one course of treatment, and then rest for 2 to 3 days before continuing with the next course.
(If time permits and there is a need, more acupoints can be treated with moxibustion. The specific duration should be adjusted according to one's own physical needs.)
