Qi Stagnation Constitution is formed due to long-term emotional discomfort and stagnation of Qi, hence the principle of nourishing this constitution is to promote the circulation of Qi, regulate Qi, and ensure the smooth flow of the body's energy. Traditional Chinese Medicine believes that "the liver governs the discharge," and one of the liver's functions is to regulate the flow of Qi. For individuals with Qi Stagnation Constitution, moxibustion can help to soothe the liver, regulate Qi, and ensure the smooth flow of energy. Once the flow of Qi is unobstructed, the mental state will also improve.
It is recommended to perform moxibustion once a day, targeting 2 to 3 acupoints each time, with each acupoint being treated for 30 to 40 minutes. Rotate the points treated, with a 10-day period constituting one course of treatment, and then rest for 2 to 3 days before continuing with the next course.
(If time permits and there is a need, more acupoints can be treated with moxibustion. The specific duration should be adjusted according to one's own physical needs.)
1. Diet: Consume more foods like daylilies, kelp, hawthorn, and rose flowers, which have the effects of promoting Qi circulation, relieving depression, aiding digestion, and refreshing the mind.
2. Exercise: Individuals with a Qi Stagnation Constitution should not stay at home all the time; they should participate more in group sports activities.
