Freckles, commonly known as "quzi," are light brown spots scattered on the face, ranging in size from the tip of a needle to the size of a grain of rice. They often appear on the forehead, bridge of the nose, and cheeks, and occasionally on the neck, shoulders, and back of the hands, affecting women's appearance. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, it is believed that "the kidney water cannot nourish the upper part, and the fire stagnates and forms spots." Therefore, we can select acupoints and use moxibustion to properly apply heat, achieving the effect of regulating the spleen and kidneys, and dredging the meridians. If persisted in over the long term, it can lighten or even eliminate freckles.
It is recommended to perform moxibustion once a day, targeting 2 to 3 acupoints each time, with each acupoint being treated for 30 to 40 minutes. Rotate the points treated, with a 10-day period constituting one course of treatment, and then rest for 2 to 3 days before continuing with the next course. (If time permits and there is a need, more acupoints can be treated with moxibustion. The specific duration should be adjusted according to one's own physical needs.)
1. Chop fresh carrots and extract the juice, take 10-30 milliliters, and apply it to the face after washing in the morning and evening, then rinse off after it dries. 2. Squeeze lemon juice and mix with an appropriate amount of sugar water for drinking. Lemons contain a large amount of vitamin C, calcium, phosphorus, iron, etc. Regular consumption of lemon juice can not only whiten the skin but also has the effect of removing spots. 3. When washing the face, add 1-2 tablespoons of food vinegar to the water, which can reduce pigmentation. 4. Eating a vitamin C and vitamin E tablet daily can achieve the effect of eliminating freckles. 5. Apply fresh eggplant skin to the face.
