Frost's Descent marks the transition of Yang energy from being received to being stored. The climatic characteristic is external cold and internal heat, with gradually decreasing temperatures, yet a sensation of dry heat in the heart. This is the result of "autumn acting under the orders of summer." The focus of health preservation during this solar term is to "guard against the cold externally and clear heat internally," to pay attention to adding clothing, and to enhance the body's defensive Qi through moxibustion to resist the invasion of external pathogens.
Apply moxibustion 4 to 5 days before and after the solar term (a total of 8 to 10 days), it is recommended to do it once a day, for 30 to 40 minutes per acupoint.
